Eight scholarships for PhD studies are available at the Sch. of Communication &Information, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, for August 2008 andJanuary 2009 admission.
PhD students are sought in the following research areas:- Knowledge organization: taxonomies, ontologies, human categorization behavior- Knowledge management- Digital libraries: information retrieval, collaborative querying, learning objectsrepositories, mobile applications, Web archiving- Natural language processing: information extraction, summarization, sentimentcategorization- User and usability studies, human computer interaction- Information literacy, health information literacy.
